2. Overview
This website sets no cookies, uses no analytics or tracking tools and loads no fonts or scripts from third-party servers. Personal data is only processed when you visit the website (technically necessary connection data) and when you send us a message yourself.
3. Hosting
The website is run by a hosting provider who provides it on our behalf on a server in a data centre in Istanbul, Turkey. A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place with the provider. There is no EU adequacy decision for Turkey, so the transfer is based on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR). You can request a copy of these safeguards at the address above.
4. Server log files
On every visit, the server automatically records information in log files: IP address, date and time, requested address, amount of data transferred, status code, browser and operating system, and the previously visited page. We need this data to run the website securely and reliably and to detect attacks. The legal basis is our legitimate interest under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The log files are deleted as soon as they are no longer needed for these purposes. They are not combined with other data.
5. Cloudflare
For fast delivery and protection against attacks, traffic to this website passes through the network of Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. Cloudflare processes in particular your IP address, the requested address and technical information about your browser. Your browser may also send error reports about failed connections to Cloudflare (Network Error Logging). The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a fast and secure website under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, so transfers to the USA are covered by the European Commission’s adequacy decision (Art. 45 GDPR). More information: cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.
6. Cookies
This website sets no cookies when you visit. Your chosen language is taken from the address alone (for example /en/ or /tr/).
7. Contact form, email and phone
If you contact us via the form, by email or by phone, we process your details (name, email address, phone number if provided, the chosen topic and your message) to answer your request. If it concerns an order or a quote, the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. For all other enquiries, it is our legitimate interest in replying under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Form enquiries are not stored in the website’s database but forwarded as an email to our mailbox. To prevent automated submissions, the website stores an irreversible hash of your IP address for one hour. We delete your message once the enquiry has been dealt with. If it leads to an order, we keep the correspondence for as long as commercial and tax law requires, usually six to ten years.
8. Fonts
Fonts are loaded from our own server. No connection is made to Google or other font providers.
9. Map link
The contact page contains a link to OpenStreetMap. No map is embedded. Data is only transferred to OpenStreetMap when you click the link.
10. Recipients
Your data is only received by the hosting provider (section 3), Cloudflare (section 5) and our email provider WEB.DE, 1&1 Mail & Media GmbH, Montabaur, Germany, where our mailbox is hosted. No data is passed on for advertising. There is no automated decision-making or profiling.
11. Your rights
You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18) and data portability (Art. 20). An informal message to the address above is enough.
Right to object: Where we process data on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, you may object to this processing at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21 GDPR).
You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is: Der Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz und die Informationsfreiheit Rheinland-Pfalz, Hintere Bleiche 34, 55116 Mainz, Germany.
12. Encryption
The connection to this website is encrypted with TLS. You can recognise this by the padlock icon in your browser’s address bar.
